Hmm, not really sure "win one for the gipper" really applies in this case. There are rumblings that PSU may even forfeit this game. You've got a point though, nobody removed from the programs knows the mindset among the players. Will probably just stay away. This is unprecedented.

Moot point now but you have to check the rules at your book. They all differ. Some grade ties as losses. Others will consider it no action no matter what happens to the other bet win or lose. Others consider a tie a push and grade the other but not too many do that for a 2 teamer.

The odds are both will hit but the over could be close because Tulane doesnt have much offense. Tulane has lost 7 games in a row! Their last 4 games were against CUSA teams and they averaged 15 points on offense while allowing 39 points on average--Average loss of 24 points!
Houston on the other hand is 9-0 and ranked #11 in the country. In their last 4 games they averaged 62 on offense while allowing 19 points on defense--an average margin of victory of 43 points.
I definitely think Houston covers the -35 but the over could be close. Might be a good game to tease 7 points with an over of 66 and bring the spread down to -28.
