78-56-3 and +49.1 units after a really good few weeks. if any of you read my thread you know that i play $20 units in ncaa football...so this is almost $1,000. i was down a little juice before i started the units, but close enough to $1,000 that i am taking it for ncaa bball and starting out with $10 units. just gonna keep my record and unit tally as is for the rest of football, but i gotta be a little more careful now as i am back to my original football roll...and i don't want to risk hitting a dry patch and losing some of it. always makes me feel good about doing this if i am able to hold on to my original roll, while playing bball with won money. may not be playing all the weeknight games, unless i just like them. will prolly make a pick each night for what i believe is the best play as i enjoy it, but will let you know if i am actually betting it or not. anyways...bout to get busy on hoops tomm and the tuesday football. gl all this week.

w michigan +11.5 for 1 unit: another great qb coming in there, and a really good wr for toledo to deal with. their secondary is not real good and i like w mich to score a lot. these guys are the real deal from what i watched against uconn. they did a really good job swarming the screen passes and short stuff toledo thrives on. doubt we see another str8 up dog win here, but +11.5 seems to be the play. hope is doesn't grow with me betting early...but i can't see a large % on toledo after the last national tv game.
n illinois -6 for 2 units: bg rush d sucks, and n ill should rip them up. really good qb with a running game that is working...well we watched what they did to toledo. not much d here, so i think bg keeps it close most of the game...but you gotta side with the n ill o here.Comment -
temple -13 for 2 units: people will likely laugh at my reason for choosing to bet temple, but that is ok...lol. two high profile temple games in a row where everyone was on temple, and they fail to cover each one...and the people betting these games remember this. last week everyone on miami ohio, and they cover easy...and people remember this. now temple -13 against miami ohio? don't even need to look at a single stat to tell you who i am taking in this case.Comment -
va tech +1 for 2 units: i love the really good run d of vt here having extra time to get ready for this o. these types or o's struggle normally when the opposition is coming off a bye week, and va tech normally does a really good job against the gt run game. i have watched them a couple of times this year when they couldn't run the ball...no thanks.

liking w michigan and the points...but the mac is crazy. they have an outstanding qb, and one of the best wrs in the mac. really solid team that beat uconn at their place. toledo capabe of winning big at home tho, so nothing big. kinda like the n ill play against toledo...just too much o with w mich for me to lay that many points.
like n illinois a little better than w michigan...but i am really liking the over on both games now that i see the totals. i am almost certain the bg game will go sailing over that...and i am fairly certain w mich will score about their half in the toledo game. unless the d's show up all of a sudden, both overs gotta be the way to go. kinda sucks because i know everyone will be on both, but it hasn't really mattered so far. rain doesn't matter...so as long as no snow i gotta go overs and road teams. maybe not the best to listen to tho. had 2 really good weeks, so i may be in for a rough one...lol.

texas -1 for 4 units: my fav play saturday as far as spreads. i only say that because i haven't really looked at many totals, so maybe something better. qbs and wrs don't matter in this game...comes down to running the football and run d. texas has rushed for 440 yards in each of the last 2 huge wins...and the mizzou run d is fairly weak. i really feel texas is much stronger up front and will not allow mizzou to run. this is backed up by stat's, but comes mainly from just watching these teams every week and being a big 12 fan.Comment -
penn state +4 or more for 3 units: not going to bet this one until i make sure it is done moving in my fav...but i will post the number when i bet it. i just really feel like this penn state d is one of the top 5 d's in the country...and i really think they shut down the nebraska run game. if you look at the nebraska stat's it is simple...as the rushing yards go down, so do the scores. i like this better than the penn state under...and that is saying something...lol. for them to be able to focus in on a 1-dimensional o like nebraska...i just honestly feel like the penn state d may score enough to come in under the spread.

oklahoma state under 78 for 2 units: what is funny about these okstate\tech games is that they very rarely go over this total...or anywhere close really. i really like the ostate d against this kind of o, where they can focus in on the screens and short stuff...and they usually do a very good job against it. i also am thinking a large focal point for ostate this week will be the running game against a very suspect tech run d. may look like a complete idiot here, but i don't think either team tops 40 in this game.Comment -
baylor over 75.5 for 3 units: they almost can't set a total high enough for this game. maybe the 2 worst pass d's in the big 12, and 2 o's that can score. unless baylor pulls another game where they turn it over in the red area over and over again, they may get pretty close to this total. i think kansas keeps up for a while, but baylor just steady keeps pulling away a turnover at a time. also liking the spread as my final saturday play as i just see no way kansas can stay up.

adding the under 50 in the va tech game tonight for 2 units. ga tech has averaged 20 the last 4 games, against d's not nearly as good as va tech. hokies have one of the best run d's in the country, and they have had almost 2 weeks to get ready. also adding 1 more unit to the game spread.Comment -

only one other i think, and i like a+m there if i was betting it. strong run d for the aggies, more than capable of shutting down the 1-dimensional wildcats. kstate one of the worst pass d's in big 12, so the injured rb for the aggies not really a factor. would have to lay the points with the aggies if i bet it. i did hear on the news there may be a dust storm during the ostate game...making me like the under a little more than i did. you hear anything about that? where you at in big 12 land?Comment -
