Still pretty new to the forum and have yet to post a play/write up so here goes...

Wake Forest +14

Forecast: Clear skies, High:54 Low:34

Wake welcomes Notre Dame to Groves Stadium Saturday night coming off a tough loss at UNC, and I have a feeling they will rebound strongly. Wake has played well at home this year with a record of 4-1 wins over NC st, Gardner-Webb, BC, Duke, and a big one over FSU. Their only loss at home was against Va Tech. Wake doesn't get to play in prime time games very often, and Notre Dame hasn't blown out any credible team on the road since Moby Dick was a minnow. Wake will focus on stopping Gray and Woods on the ground and force Rees to turn the ball over through the air. Notre Dame is also dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball with DE Ethan Johnson's ankle injury and Rees still battling a knee injury. Wake throws the ball a lot and should be able to wear down the Notre Dame secondary and make this a close game.

Thanks guys, I just don't see Notre Dame covering 14 on the road against a team like Wake

Wake has lost 3 games this year, last week being their 3rd. They answered their previous 2 loses with wins (NCSt at home by 7 & at Duke by 1). Last week they got schlacked at North Carolina by 26. The team should be extremely up for this game as its an ESPN nationally televised game in primetime, 8oclock, coupled with the fact they know theyre a 13.5 point dog to a team in ND that hasnt overly impressed this year, both in their coaching and in their play. I agree the play here is WF. Look for a strong showing again out of WF after last weeks embarassing loss on the road

Wake is always solid at home. Their 49th ranked rush defense should be enough to stop the run and Rees has been turnover prone all year. Look for Tanner Price to have a huge game tonight.

Anything is possible but Notre Dame's injuries will play a factor here. Also, Notre Dame is 1-3 ats this year after playing a home game and 1-2 ats as a road favorite. Wake is 1-0 ats after a road loss and 2-1 as a home dog...I decided to lock in Rutgers +3 an Ark -5, and considering a play on the LSU/Bama over

I agree with reasoning and stats but as stated ND can light them up. The key: will they play a clean game? If they do it's very possible they cover. I'm leaning over the total on this one assuming Wake will score some at home and ND will continue to put up their numbers.

Perfect 3-0 night. Will probably stay away from nfl tomorrow for the most part but there are 1 or 2 plays I'm looking into
