Did some more research and LSU has played 1 team that is currently in the top 20. LSU's 5 SEC opponents so far have a combined conference record of 7-19 and only 1 team Auburn has a winning record. LSU's 5 SEC opponents they beat well here are there offensive rankings, Auburn 89, Tennessee 102, Kentucky 118, Florida 94, Miss state 74. LSU's D gives up an average of 24 points a game to teams that have offenses ranked in the top 70, Oregon and West Virginia. I liked LSU and the points but now that over 60% of the public is on LSU I think the Alabama moneyline is the play for me or really I may just watch the game and drink, there are way better games to bet on this weekend IMO. BOL guys

Very true sorry about that I should have done both teams but I was just going to bet LSU all week not the tide, but man I really thought the SEC was better than having only 6 teams with winning records. Happy second day on SBR Steamteam this is a really cool site buddy.

Been following both programs closely and this might be the toughest opponent Alabama has faced since Saban has been at Alabama. But make no mistake when Alabama is good (meaning undefeated and playing for something) they are near automatic to win the game and that pre-dates Nick Saban. Alabama has 13 National Championships and I realize that means really nothing when the ball is kicked, but it just shows the program is use to winning when it matters most over many decades, other players and coaches. I wouldn't bet against Alabama unless you feel LSU gets those turnovers because they won't beat Alabama if they do not. LSU is very good and what they do better than Bama is special teams and creating turnover's. I like LSU's punter and his ability to make a long field for Bama. Bama's offense and defense are better and they are at home. LSU will need turnover's to win and they have gotten them against everybody else, but this is not everybody else they are playing Saturday.

I don't think LSU's o-line can block Alabama's front seven. Alabama will also struggle to run the ball, but should be somewhat more balanced than LSU will be. The only way LSU can cover in this game is if Alabama does what they did last year, and commit a couple of turnovers on their own end of the field. If not, Alabama wins by 7.
