I actually really like the over 56 in this game. I know BYU has a decent defense statistically, but really who have they played. Texas was a fluke because of the turnovers, and Utah blew them out. Oregon state put 28 up on them and they are horrible. TCU can score with anyone, their two losses they scored 48 and 33. I see this as a 38-28 sort of game.

im torn. im thinking TCU -13 under. But rule of thumb is favorite and over... but that hasnt worked out well this season

TCU has gone over in 6 out of 7 and they both are even against the spread so Vegas has this one close. BYU has gone over 3 out of 8. Look at the scores TCU puts up and they never quit.

really? not saying you are wrong, but i don't want anyone crying fix tomm if the "no brainer" over doesn't cash. look at who tcu is scoring against...

48 on baylor...one of the worst d's in the country. actually if you look at results, they are about the same as the houston d we watched tonight.

35 on air force...this actually equals the lowest point total given up by the af d to d-1 opposition this year.

38 on ul monroe...not very good d, but weird and kind of hard to make a case for being terrible. 73rd overall, but they just gave up 38 to n texas as well.

55 on portland state...c'mon now, its portland state.

33 on smu in ot...fairly good d this year, tho i believe byu is better overall and much stronger up front.

27 on sdsu...pretty good d, but this 27 is about on par with what cal poly and army and wash state and michigan and air force scored against sdsu. this is about at the top end of what i could see them scoring tomm.

69 on new mexico to boost the scoring average...#119 d in the land that even sam houston state scored 48 on.

two points...

1. i am really bored tonight, so i decided to post all this junk.
2. not everything is as it seems just by looking at ppg average and such. the byu d is really strong up front and has completely shut down several rushing attacks this year...and tcu is not such a good passing team when they can't run the ball.

not saying this is the way to go, but needs to be looked at for sure. i can see a very good case for the under 56, and that is what i bet actually...but i am sure others can make a case for over. only 2 of the last 10 between these 2 have gone over this total...so all in all it just seems like the best play to me. gl with whatever tho guys...and don't tail me without doing the work yourself.
