    Totals
    Iowa/Minny Over 54
    Houston/Rice Ov 70
    CMU/Akron Ov 50

    CMU/Akron Ov 50
Both teams are finding their offensive identities averaging ~55 points per (combined) over their last 4 outings. Both teams are fielding pretty poor defenses (allowing ~34 points per game each) so there shouldn’t be much scoring resistance. Last time they played (2009) CMU won 48-21. CMU has actually gone over in 6 of 7 games this year. And each team has only held 1 opponent all year to less than 27 points (VMI for Akron, and S. Carolina St. for CMU).
I like this play more than I thought I did to start. Lock it in. OVER 50

Iowa/Minne Ov 54.5: take Iowa all day. Over 54.5 and -16
Iowa has gone over in all but 1 game (the game against PSU).
and in all those games they scored 31+….(41+ in 4 of 6.)
Minnesota has given up 37+ in 4 consecutive games, starting with a 29-37 loss to north Dakota. Since that loss they have given up no less than 41 in a game. They have also only been held to less than 14 points 1 time. The spread is Iowa -16 which I don’t think would be terrible either because they have been rolling, and Minny has been getting murdered.

Traditionally it’s not a blowout but Minny has been terrible this year, and with a 100 yard and 17 point offensive advantage and a slight defensive advantage, I’ll take Iowa all day. Over 54.5 and -16

Thursday: Rice vs Houston: OVER (anything under 70)
    Rice (22.3 / 32.6) 2-5 SU, 3-4 ATS, 2-5 O/U
    Houston (49.3 / 23.4) 7-0 SU, 5-2 ATS, 5-2 O/U
Obviously a person should lean Houston ATS but @ -27 this requires some research.
Houston’s offense averages 606 yards, while Rice averages about half of that (326 yards) wow.
Houston also has the better defense, allowing ~64 yards less per game. Houston should murder them, as you have the top offense vs one of the worst defenses, but in the past it has been relatively close and though I can’t see Rice winning,
they haven’t lost by 27+ all year, and they have played decent offenses @ Texas and Baylor, and vs Tulsa. Marshall was a common opponent and a week after they defeated Rice; they lost to Houston 63-28 so yeah… Anyways the last few years look like this:
    2010/10/16 Houston 31 - Rice 34
    2009/11/28 Houston 73 - Rice 14
    2008/11/29 Houston 42 - Rice 56
    2007/10/13 Houston 56 - Rice 48
    2006/09/02 Houston 31 - Rice 30

I know the O/U is a wash with a combined: 7-7 O/U but you can’t argue the potential for a huge game from Houston. They haven’t scored under 35 all year and scored at least 48 or more in 5 of 7 games (including, 56 vs. ECU and 63 vs. Marshall in their last 2 outings). Rice has scored 20+ in every game but the opener against Texas, and though the Houston Defense is improved, I don’t see them keeping Rice out of the end-zone. For any less than 3 TD’s
My play for this game will be OVER (anything under 70)

Hey Turbotec, I took the below parlay that I'm really comfortable with:
        Maryland -270 v BC
        Stanford -270 @ USC

        It came in @-115.

BC is awful this year (I'm and alum with season tickets). Take away their one win, at home v UMass (D1 AA), and they've been unable to score 20 points in a game. The offense is anemic, and their defense gets worn out in the second half of every game. Maryland is on a 3 game losing streak, but those games were vs G Tech, Clemson, and FL State. Clemson was the one home game in the bunch, and they played them tough the whole game. Maryland can score and should handle BC without an issue.

Stanford has pounded every team this year by atleast 3 TDs this season. Though USC is riding high coming off their win @ ND, Stanford is on another level. Stanford has beat SC the last two seasons, and they haven't lost a game since 12/31/09. I don't expect that loss to come this weekend.

No bet is a lock, but I like this parlay better than any straight bet on the board this weekend.

My top picks for a parlay:

Texas Tech -15 (Buydown to -13.5)
            Penn State -5
            Stanford -7.5 (Buydown to -6.5)
Miss State -10 (Buydown to -9.5)
            Washington -4.5 (Buydown to -2.5)
Oregon -35.5 Buydown to -34.5--(yes, I know thats a ton of points but this is Oregon, they are playing at home and are playing a miserable WSU squad who has lost 3 in a row. WSU looked lost against Oregon State last Saturday and Oregon just destroyed Colorado last weekend 45-2 in Eugene, OR. I Think Oregon will put up over 50 this weekend and should cover easily.

            Others to consider:
            Miss/Auburn: Over 51
            Iowa: -16 (Buydown to -13.5)
            Ark/Vand: Over 52
            Ark: -10 (buydown to -9.5)
            Central Michigan: -6.5
Ok St: -14 (Buydown to -13.5)
            South Carolina/Tenn: Over 43.5
South Carolina: -4 (Buydown to -2.5)
            NW: -9 (buydown to -6.5)

Tonights teaser ....I'm thinking the weather and better than average defense by both teams keeps it low,if it stays low scoring ,Conn should cover ,they've scored 21,20,31,and 16 points in their losses ,McCombs, has been pretty solid with 175 carries ,ave 4 yards a pop ,between he and Pitts,Ray Graham with 162 carries for 939,I'd say you'll see a pretty heavy dose of the run tonight, hopefully burning the clock in the rain, hopefully some turnovers ,Sunseri has 5 TDs and 7 picks,I like that in bad weather also...Pitts, run game scares me a little tonight with Graham,... but what worries me more than that is ,if Pitt, can get that tempo up on offense and throw it early it could get out of control like it did when Conn played WV,that scares me most, but that was a beautiful sunny day in WV,this is in the rain and ugly weather, under the lights and is televised nationally tonight ,the week of Halloween ...."but I don't think so, not tonight" as the late great Howard Cosell used to say, ....Conn -17 it is......and the under 48.5....... have a great day

Wow! These are supposed to be your best parlays! You actually think Illinois will stay within 5 of penn state? Penn State has a ferocious defense and Illinois has totally fallen apart offensively.
Baylor within 14 of Ok State? Highly, highly Doubtful.

GT--I think Clemson covers but the more I think about this game I think its a no play for me. Same with UNLV (they are aweful)--no play.

I agree with Miss St -10 vs Kentucky.

And just saw Oregon drop to -35. Lot of points, but this is in Autzen Stadium, starters should be returning, and WSU is really bad. I will be suprised if WSU gets in the endzone this weekend.
