My Two Cents ----- I like Ok St. Haven't bet them straight up, yet. Have them teased on a round robin @ - 1/2. I love it teased -6, hesitant straight up. I favor straight bets, but have been hot on teasing a handful of my top picks. Will keep it rolling till I cool off. Hopefully, Ok St is one of those handful of teams that you've been riding this year. They just cash tickets. I've always had a lot of respect for Weeden. Recently, they had a special on ESPN on the Ok St Cowboy football program. If you watched it, you would have came away impressed. Boone Pickens loves Cowboy Football. He's poured money into the school and program. What he's done to the facilities and made available to the football team is impressive. Weeden I believe is 28 years old and married. The dude has his shit together, is focused and more mature than any college qb I've ever seen. Blackmon is quiet and focused and probably one of the toughest guys to cover in college. Size, speed, great hands, I could only pray my nfl team would draft him.
Mizzu, has also done well for supporters. QB Franklin looks good , they have a well balanced team. If they play a perfect game, they could win. One could argue Cowboy D is soft. Cowboys still celebrating Texas win and so on. I think Cowboys are focused and taking this one game at a time. Weeden's maturity and team belief that this could be their best chance to win a Conf. title will keep them sharp.
I'm a big fan of Defense and love LSU and Bama's . Those guys are aggressive and they install fear in opposing O's. But sometimes the best Defense is a great Offense. I'll throw one stat at you- Weeden remains UNDEFEATED as a starter outside of Stillwater 9 - 0 SU/ATS. Cowboys # 2 both scoring and total O. Weeden hitting a eye opening 73% and 34 completions per game. People were screaming value last week with the Longhorns. Revenge, Home, always close and anything else they could think of. What did that get them? You could argue home and value with the Tigers, but do you really want to take less than a touchdown against this offense? I'm going to look at it some more and see how I do tonight. I'm in big on two early games and hate to have to much on the line in the early slot. I feel a little more confident in other games, but hate to get off the Cowboy train.Comment -

#6I thought about Mizzou's O and decided the over (69.5) is probably the safest play.Comment -

#11I say careful with Okie St and the early start. If they don't come out ready to play this one might be close. Sleep walking on the road against an unranked in conference opp can be dangerous. I agree w/ the tread lightly statement.Comment -

Mizzou's last win vs OSU: Oct 8 2005 (Gundy's first year)
Mizzou's last win in Columbia vs OSU: Oct 7 2000 (The year before pinkel came to mizzou)

#23Be careful with Missouri the rest of the yr... Big 12 refs... they will want Okie State, might piss on Missouri leaving for SEC.
It happened last yr with Nebraska... they got HOSED bit time against A&M in a late season squeaker.
Holding and pass int calls, those are the key calls to look for, hard to dispute, no replays.Comment -

#29You should take them on the moneyline then @ +210. If you like Mizzu, I'd take the points and pray that Weeden and Blackman don't light it up. Mizzu is a good team and tough at home, but Cowboys are on a mission. Neither have had a rough slate ytd, but name a team that mizzu has beat thats any good? Miami OH, W. Ill and Iowa St?
You going to throw an undefeated OK ST in with those losers? I don't give a damn what side the sharps or squares are on. In my eyes the only sharp guys are the ones cashing tickets after games.Comment -

#31Missouri is going to be fired to make it their record 4-3. 2nd game of back to back games on the road is always tough. Oklahoma St covered first half, 2nd half and the game spread at texas last weekend. Its hard to cover back to back road games.Comment -

exactly man, which is why i am on the over for 4 units. that is the clear play according to all that i see...the trash talk is just me having fun...lol. mizzou is not going to touch weeden tomm, so if you are thinking osu struggles then you are banking only on an off day from weeden. that can happen but the guy hasn't thrown an int in like 3 or 4 games i am thinking...and he never gets touched. ostate d will likely have problems with the running qb from mizzou as this is the first time these young guys in the front 7 see anything like him. anything can happen in a game, but based on stat's and common sense the over is the play. don't know how anyone pumping the mizzou spread is not all over it at 69, because you can't honestly expect that secondary to hold ostate to less than 30 points. i got 4 units on the over and only 2 on ostate -7. this is the first time i have bet my team, but i have been correct on both totals for them i have posted this year. only reason i think ostate might drop them big is i just don't think mizzou gets it downfield deep enough to back them up. the ostate d does very well with the running game and short stuff when there is not a serious threat of anything deep. all this is just my opinion of course and i am wrong often...lol. just wanted to make sure everyone knew the trashtalk was for fun and my opinions are based in how i read the stat's...not just being an ostate fan. and i won't be here either way tomm. the joy of seeing my team win, along with the money i win, is enough for me if i am right. seeing my team lose and losing my money are enough the other way as well without subjecting myself to further abuse from a bunch of guys i don't know. have fun tomm guys and enjoy the games.Comment -
