    Mid-Season Southern Fried SEC Picks
Live in the heart of SEC country. Maybe it will help ;-)

    0-0-0

    Week Starting in October 17th

    Alabama -29 VS Tennessee
It is impossible for those outside the state of Alabama and Tennessee to understand how intense of a Rivalry that the Third Saturday in October really is. It was because of Tennesee that Alabama spent the early to mid 2000's on the bottom of college football ranks Every fraternity boy, player, sidewalk fan, coach and professor in Tuscaloosa would say they hate Tennesee just as much if not more than Auburn. Without Justin Hunter and Tyler Bray, Tennesee has no answer at any level of offense to match the Alabama defense.

    Score : Alabama 45 - Tennessee 6

    Auburn +22 VS LSU
This is another one of those rivalry games that most people don't understand unless they live in the SEC. This game has always been competitive regardless of BCS standings. Auburn's defensive roster is filled with blue chips athletes that have made leaps and bounds this season and are finally starting to click. The speed on the Auburn defense should be capable of stopping Jordan Jefferson and Ridley from getting those outside runs/screens. In the end though, look for some key turnovers from Auburn to put LSU in easy field position.

    Score : LSU 30 - Auburn 17

I agree with the Bama pick but no way Auburn scores 17 in this game.

      Adding a pick

      Arkansas -15.5 VS Ole Miss

Arkansas's offense is really clicking on all cylinders right now and it doesn't look like a Rebel defense that's given up 28 and 24 to two mediocre teams will be able to stop Tyler Wilson. Ole Miss is just pitiful this season; any team that gets beat 30-7 By Vanderbilt should be faded all the way to the bank.

      Arkansas 45 - Ole Miss 14

Not an SEC pick but jumping on the wagon anyways.

        Wisconsin -7 VS Michigan State

This Wisconsin team is a force to be reckoned with. They are clearly a class above the rest of the Big Ten and Michigan State is no exception.

        Wisconsin 30 -Michigan State 17
