Did a single public play lose from 3:30 on?

I've never seen a stretch like this in college football. Favorites are covering like crazy, public dogs cashing -- incredible.

Randy Edsall is a joke of a coach. Now 1-19 vs. ranked teams in his career.

They fired Ralph Friedgen for this idiot? Nice job Maryland. What a terrible place to play. The crowd isn't even into the game.

I had Clemson on the game, I had given up at the half, glad I flipped it back on for the 4th quarter.

          Good grief nobody played defense.

I had Clemson -10. Had Miss State +3 earlier.

I'll consider this the betting gods righting my loss earlier in the year on that missed PAT in the Syracuse Toledo game I got screwed on.

              I had Maryland + 10 in an 8 teamer I did.

I'm kind of glad they didn't cover because if they had, it would have meant I had hit 6 out 7 with ASU pending. I hate losing those things by one game.

That really does suck for Maryland backers though. I've been on plenty of those. I have a 10 point dog up by 18 in the second half and they don't cover. It's horrible.

Hmm let's see here...how about Vandy covering and almost winning outright? How about Illinois going down? Or Georgia Tech outright? These don't count?

The Georgia Tech game was the only one that was a heavy public loss.

Illinois-OSU numbers weren't heavy in one direction and I doubt the public bet much in the Georgia/Vandy game.

Big day for me capped by that Clemson comeback. I had a 7 team parlay that I thought was going to be done by the last leg. Fair play to Clemson they never panicked

Disagree 100%. What are you basing this claim off of? Just because the teams didn't have numbers next to them the "public" didn't bet them? Newsflash bro...the line was Vandy +11.5 all the way until 45 minutes before kickoff when the line jumped up to +13.5. I don't claim to be an "expert" on line movement...but it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes and his trusty companion Watson to deduce that a 2 point swing an hour prior to kickoff constitutes heavy action on a side.

Had a huge tease with GT in it today. Was a huge public play as stated earlier. Not all games went how they were supposed to.

Why would you assume public money drove that up?

                            Idk maybe this I guess...

76% out of 24,364 bets on the game were on Georgia ATS (source thespread.com)
At covers it was over 80%...(forget the exact number and its not posted anymore)

^maybe this shit is skewed/irrelevant, maybe Billy fukking Walters hammered Georgia an hour before kickoff, who knows? I sure don't.

What I do know is that using solely common sense I can conclude that more "public" money was on UGA than Vandy based on perception of the two teams. UGA had been rolling and Vandy had gotten their doors blown off...is it really that hard to believe?
