This is a down year as a whole for the sec. Bama and LSU and Arkansas are legit, but the difference this year is the 2nd level teams (south Carolina, auburn, Florida, and I suppose miss st. and Georgia) are no better than the 2nd level teams of other conferences. Most years those teams are markedly better than your Michigan and Michigan State for example. They aren't better this year.

The bottom 4, vandy Tennessee Kentucky and ole miss would be terrible in any conference.

The simple argument is they are not as dominant top to bottom like most years. Match up the Sec with the big ten and they don't dominate like most years.

      LSU/BAMA - WISCY - SEC
      LSU/BAMA - NEB - SEC
      ARKY- MICH ST. - SEC
      S.CAR- OSU - BIG TEN
      AUB- MICH- BIG TEN
      FLA- ILL-? ???
      GEO- PSU - ???
      MISS ST.- IOWA-? ??
      TENN- NW- BIG TEN
OLE MISS/Kentucky/VANDY- IND/PURDUE/MINN - WHO THE HELL CARES!!

In the 9 matchups that matter, it's close instead of the usual 7-2 or 8-1 SEC Domination.

Actually, his point was that you should stop being a crybaby and chasing me around the board picking fights.
