I don't get why so many of you guys here take first half bets in games that have very little risk of a backdoor cover
the only time you really should ever take a first half bet is on a game with a monster spread where the favorite will likely be up 20-30+ at halftime in order to avoid any sort of a backdoor cover possibility. Yet I've seen people here play the first half spreads for games like Boise last friday and LSU today when the spread was only 17-21 points. Teams don't take their foot off the throttle usually until they're up 28-35 points so there's really no point to play a first half spread in that situation (You're much better off just giving a superior team 4 quarters to dominate)
I don't mean to sound arrogant or self righteous, just trying to save you guys from making bad bets if I can.
