The way I evaluate first half spread is to look at the whole game and what the projected score should be in the game if both teams played 100% to capacity the entire game. OU would beat kansas something like 77 - 7 if they played the whole game at 100% to capacity so I would project them to be leading in the first half by 30+ points

How could OU get up for this game after destroying Texas?

have u looked at Oklahoma's recent results against bad teams in situations like this?? They didn't win a single big 12 game last year against the bad teams in the conference by less than 33 points
