Best defense in football at home against their rival. Convince me not to take this play.

Will be biggest bet this year for me. I took -1.5 on book, hoping local will be 2.5 but im sure it will be 3.

I love it. I'm still not sold on Michigan.

You have to think that the public will be all over Michigan. I really like Michigan State here.

You think it will drop any. I think most show 3 or 2.5 now... my bookie is always on the higher end.

          2.5 or 3 is what you'll get. I don't see any possibility of a 3.5 or 2 line.

my local has it at a PK.

using locals is the easiest way to make money betting.

Theyve played nobody with an offense, but Notre Dame and they lit them up, no reason to go beyond a normal bet size if you like them.

I know Ohio State's offense is suspect this year, but if you can go into the shoe and hold them to seven points, you're good - damn good.

In fact. I would like you to point out the last time Ohio State only scored 7 points at home.

Since Michigan said that Michigan State was their "little brother" it's locker room material they use ever year!

I have no play on this game, but a few thoughts.

                    - Michigan has played a tougher schedule than MSU.
                    - Michigan has a bye next week, whereas MSU has to face Wisconsin.
                    - The only competitive teams that MSU has faced have been Notre Dame (31-13 loss) and an Ohio State team that's seen better days (10-7 win). The other three games have been layups against an FCS team (Youngstown State), and teams that I currently have ranked at #110 (Central Michigan) and #117 (Florida Atlantic). Their defensive stats are bullshit.
                    - Michigan hasn't beaten any true powerhouse teams but they've beaten 4 solid midrange teams (Northwestern, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Western Michigan) that can all put points on the board.

Is Michigan for real? Probably not. They benefited from a lot of early home games and were absolutely underrated to start the season, but the market is now overvaluing them. I see a team that looks good on paper, but at the same time, they fell behind Northwestern and needed a big comeback and needed to score 28 points in the 4Q against Notre Dame to win. I think we're going to see the second half of their season be a lot less impressive than the first half.

However at the same time, MSU has not proven a thing yet. They were never in the Notre Dame game at all, and turned the ball over 3 times to OSU, but the Buckeyes were just too feeble to capitalize on them.

So I think neither of these teams are legit and betting on either side is crazy. No play is a much stronger play than laying -3.

That's great. You can't point to a time that Ohio State scored so few at home.
