Doesn't it though? GT rolled NC State for 3.75 quarters until they laid down in the last 5 minutes and allowed a million points. They then looked completely flat in the 2nd half against Maryland. Virginia is terrible. Logic says GT should roll them but... Thoughts? VA came within a whisker of losing to Idaho... at home. Someone talk me out of putting a fortune on GT - 7. This seems too easy.

i'm a UVA alum and follow them quite closely....al groh, longtime head coach of UVA, is now defensive coordinator with gtech. Gtech have always struggled playing in Charlottesville, and they play there every 2 yrs, but two yrs ago they stomped us. al groh knows rocco and most of our lineup and boy does he want revenge for losing the job at uva...cavaliers are not a bad team per se, but choke big time in critical times and are turnover-prone. I actually watched them practice a few days ago and everything is centered around defending the triple option....groh and london (uva's current coach) know each other real well but I would b shocked with anything other than a complete rout by gtech. Always tough to play us in charlottesville but gtech should absolutely destroy uva, i'm on gtech -7.5 in this one...no way uva can keep up with them, unless the superlong possessions actually convert to touchdowns consistently. ACC refs suck so that may play a role but as long as gtech don't choke away late in the game like they have the past couple of games, they should cruise here. BOL on ur playsComment -
I took GT -7. I like it. Virginia is bad against the spread (1-4) while G Tech is 4-1-1. Tevin Washington's numbers are great this year. 10 TDs and 2 INTs compared to Rocco's 2 TDs and 7 INTs. G Tech is averaging 46.5 points this year compared to Virginia's 27.2. I don't see Virgnia keeping this close. Numbers don't lie....Comment -

Just placed a fairly standard sized bet (maybe a little larger) on GT - 7. I wanted to get it before it goes to 7.5. Only thing that makes me hesitant is Rochester Titans is on VA, but I really like GT here. Just toned down the play a little bit as to what I was going to bet before. Thanks for the input guys. What I wrote Monday.
Georgia Tech -8***
jumped on the bandwagon after week 1 but debating jumping off after a near-burn against NCST and an actual burn against Maryland, they are playing my former college I did not graduate from (loser) so lets see what I can come across at a glance. Scoring GaTech 46.5 / 24.2; Virginia 27.2 / 22.4; GaTech is 4-1 ATS while Virginia is 1-4 (encouraging). Defenses look similar while offense is obviously one sided. They both played UNC with Georgia sneaking out a 7 point win and UVA an 11pt loss. Last weeks 1pt win over a very poor Idaho team concerns me for UVA and obviously GaTech will look to rebound after a close call vs a mediocre (definitely under-rated) Maryland team. Virginia has played almost every team they’ve played close but I don’t see that coming into play here, they had similar numbers last year coming in against a much less impressive Gatech team which had already suffered 2 losses, and still lost by 12pts, I look for a similar effort here not giving up a million but not being able to keep up with the pace. I’ll throw out a score like 38-21 here. I think @8pts this line is a steal. 3 stars.Comment -

I have been fukked so much by GT in the past that I"m worried about taking it here.
The only problem I have with GT here is that if the triple option is shut down, or they fall behind, they'll be relying on a really shitty passing QB to have to throw the ball.Comment
