The bottom line is simple. If there are only two undefeated teams left at the end of the season, those two play in the BCS Championship game. If there are three or more, then the SEC Champ will play one of the other undefeated teams. The problem that the Big 12 champ may run into is that they do not play a Conference Championship game, and everyone else does. That has hurt the Pac 12 in recent years, before they expanded to 12 teams.

I want a scenario that destroys the BCS bowl set up.
How about LSU wins the SEC----Clemson wins the ACC---Oklahoma wins the Big 12----Wisconsin wins the Big 10-----Boise runs the table----and Stanford runs the Pac 12.........
Granted because of the difficulty of the SEC----LSU gets the nod, then who?
That won't play out, but man if it did----it would be funny as hell.

Ironically, the sole time that more than 2 two from BCS conferences finished the season undefeated it was the SEC Champ Auburn that was left out of the NC game in 04-05. Speaks volumes to the respect gained by SEC in the past 6 years...

Even better---LSU or Alabama lose a single game, and Wisconsin, Stanford, Clemson, Boise State and Oklahoma all run the table.
That would be some seriously funny shit.

The BCS computers put a LOT of weight on non-conference games so Big12 has a lot going for it. winner of big 12 will play the sec champion

the first part of that is very likely. i seriously doubt either lsu or bama are making it out of that conference undefeated. people always look at the schedules and say "well all the gotta do is beat so and so"...but it never works that way.
in the big 12 i do expect my boys to lose at least one game...maybe saturday...and they may very well end up beating oklahoma in stillwater last game.
pac 12 oregon against stanford is gonna be awesome...but i do expect stanford to lose that game.
clemson maybe in the acc...but c'mon, it is clemson after all.
i always start thinking about this time the what ifs with so many undefeated teams...and about this time every year teams start getting beat. get ready for one of those upset weekends this week or next.

Agree with all your BCS teams except for Michigan. Plus you're forgetting the Big East champion.
So replace Michigan with whichever crap team comes out of that conference. How do they even still have an automatic bid?
