This is not the week that the line's wrong. The Vols will keep it close at home and probably have a shot to win late in the game. Tennessee spread plus a dabble on the ML for me.

LSU: Until this past weekend I really wasn't sure just how good LSU was. By saying that I don't mean I didn't think they were good cause I did but exactly how good was up for debate. They are THAT good and not just because they beat Florida because of the way they beat Florida. They dominated the Gators almost identically to the way Alabama did and that tells me a lot about them. The thing about this game though is Tennessee who is not among the elite of the SEC was in the game last year and actually probably should have won the game. Not that they were better but because LSU played sloppy. So do they play sloppy again or do they go out and continue to send a message? Still at 15 points I would probably feel safe but even if I didn't I would absolutely keep them around for any and all teasers.

LSU will tear this tea apart they are going to the SEC championship vs Alabama.. they are WAYY better than they were last season. In the college game DEFENSE plays huge part and LSU's defense will shut down the VOLS who don't have tyler bray and will have to start Matt Simms who is horrible and hasn't even gotten a chance to play this type of reborn defense that LSU has. Not having WR Hunter and depending on Da'Rick Rogers aint going to help out the VOLS at ALL..

might need to do a little more research on that

I attened UT and lets just say I will not be going to this game (live just outside of Knoxville). Forget about Justin Hunter going down and now Tyler Bray (Simms isnt that bad of a qb). LSU will cover just from special teams, Tennessee has the most pathetic special teams in the country and the kicker (Palardy or whatever) cant kick an xp without some drama. Expect a lot of bad field positioning for the Vols and LSU starting every drive at midfield of better. LSU covers.....

Tyler Bray broke the thumb on his throwing hand vs Georgia. Out for a month. Unless LSU goes to Knoxville totally brain dead (and with Les Miles as their coach, that's possible), they should win by at least 17.

The only thing to watch out for here is LSU looking ahead to Auburna and Bama and as a result taking it easy for the game. Count on them not going full steam to avoid injury but style points still count...I'm on this and bought the hook for -14. Looks good but this confidence better be matched by line movement.
