There is absolutely no way the Broncos lose this game. Boise's defense will dominate Fresno's unproductive offense. Boise knows they will win, so they are entering this game with a bunch of confidence. I see Boise just
going through the motions and suddenly being up by like 4 touchdowns. They should get this over by half-time and then they can just cruise through the second half to work on their run attack that's been lacking. Anytime you have a road team favored by this amount of points you get the high probability of a back door cover, so I dont think you just lay the points with Boise and call it a day. Only way Fresno ST covers the lowly first half line of 12 points is by a turn-over from the Broncos in their own side of the field. I guess that could happen if the stars line up on a full moon. Bronco's will probably still cover the first half like 24-10 or something. The second half will be very low-scoring and there will be no more than 21 points put up. I am against the ropes now if I should take under 59 for the game, which looks like the easiest money. Could be too good to be true though! Or do I go with the Broncos for the first half? I guess I could just take the Broncos for the game then look for a middle/hedge at half-time.

How do you know they'll "get to work on it"?. The fact is that Fresno State has gone over the osted total in every one of their games this season. They gave up 38 to a terrible Ole Miss team at home. I would not go under.

Bigdaddy I agree... I think they are 4 of 5 actually and Boise is 1 of 4. but I am on the same logic as you and the Ole Miss game kind of eased my mind. I think Fresno being at home + their coach amping up the game like an NFL team is coming to town, will give them some motivation to get points on the board... also I think after the defense figures out it's outmatched they will roll over and play possum for the rest of the game, Im counting on Fresno for 17-24 points, and obviously after a lack luster game last week, and questions concerning Kellen Moore's greatness, I think coach leaves him in and lets him quiet the critics, look for 5TDs through the air and a few on the ground for Boise... 48-21 is my final score, pick the over.. win money.

Last week when Boise got up late they put in the backup QB Southwick and gave up late points. This is national TV so Boise may keep their foot on the gas the whole game. This game comes down to what Boise wants to do. Of late Boise has been taking their foot off the gas at the end of the game. I admit another poster pointed this out before last Saturday but I witnessed exactly what he was talking about against Nevada.

I say National TV Boise St keeps their foot on the gas and scores 40 the defense should hold to their average of 17 points.

Boise has covered both of their road games this season including a 40-15 win @ Toledo. Toledo is a lot better than Fresno!!!

Got Boise state first half -12.5. I think someone f#cked up royally with that one haha.

Boise was up at half time during every game this season. By 7 on Georgia, 11 on Toledo, 27 on Tulsa, and 20 on Nevada.

I think the problem with taking either side on the total is there is no telling how many points Boise will score. If they really wanted to they could cover the total themselves. Or they could just shut down Fresno completely and win like 42 - 10. Those 10 points would come in the 4th quarter when Boise is playing second string defensive men, just like what happened in Nevada.

Boise is 8-1 ATS over the last 2 seasons when they are favored by more than 2 TD's on the road. Boise play might be too easy, and that scares me....
