You don't know or understand why TCU wanted to go to the Big East?

Seriously?

At the time----they were in the Mountain West----and needed to jump through 14 hurdles to get to a BCS game----the Big East provided a guarantee for them. TCU would have won the BE the last 5 years had they been in it, and at the time---the Big 12 wasn't offering any invitations.
