the line has dropped from GT -15 to GT-13.5 (which seems like a crucial number) but Maryland has looked horrible lately and have the 90th rank rush defense--if anyone can help w/ stuff I'm overlooking that would be great-ty

#2Basically what you have to look for and guess at is which game are the current ACC unbeatens going to lose that they shouldn't. It happens every year in the ACC and I doubt the trend ends this year. Maryland is a better team than NC State who backdoor'd GT last week but it seems like GT should cover if they play well. I'm not touching it though.Comment -

#3GTech really didn't play very well on offense last week - washington's pass numbers were terrible and they still pushed (and should have covered if not for a miraculous backdoor cover by NCST)
I think if they play up to their usual capacity, they will win by 20+
I might tease this under a touchdown though, I just don't see anyway Gtech doesn't win by at least a TDComment -

#4The 2nd team O and D lost the -12 spread in a TWO MINUTE timespan with a wtf fumble, and a wtf 2nd string drive... Though the final 9 1/2 spread did work out, and thus GT is technically undefeated against the final spread, so, while I went ahead and took -13, I will wait with copius amounts of cash if it goes under a 10 point spread.
After edging by a 10 point game, when being up 21-0, and 45-21...I don't see the GT coaching staff coming close to losing this spread against maryland, one of the worst rushing defenses in the country...
NC ST was GT's WTF game of the year...Epic bullshit penalties (holding? on a cut block? On a 70 yard TD run? WTF ref?), and bullshit luck (2nd team fumbles for a TD, missed 4th down conversion, etc.)
The spread has already moved, I expect it to move farther in GTs favor, I hope... -9 1/2 would be great.Comment -

#5Don't assume that early movement means anything here. I think its a case of the number being manipulated for later bets on GT. I bit on the -13.5. GT should roll here.Comment -

#6I like GT in this one by at least two touchdowns. This will be Maryland's first road game this year, and the terps have really struggled lately. Getting plowed by Temple and a close 3 quarters vs. Towson before adding on a few TDs in the 4th.Comment -

#11I wouldn't use a 1h play, ever, with georgia tech. I've known this team far too long for that. It would have worked like a charm last week, but that's probably the only time in 3 years....
Heck, they scored almost 70 on kansas....but it was a 7 point game at the half, iirc.
CPJ and CAG tend to really stride in the second half after making some XO adjustments...Comment -
