I don't man, that is a misleading stat. Teams are throwing tons on ND because no one can run on them. ND is allowing 32 yards per game rushing---and they played 4 pretty good running teams---USF, Michigan with Denard, Michigan State, and Pitt.

Besides that---look at points given up.

Michigan State scored 13, and Pitt 12 on ND.

And---I don't know how you are ignoring the fact that Purdue lost to Rice. Rice. Baylor had 56 on Rice midway through the third quarter and just stopped throwing out of pity. Add to one of Purdue's wins was a 27-24 nail bitter to Middle Tennessee, and another to SE Missouri State.

Good luck on your play though.

        Fair enough.

I watched some of that Purdue/MTSU game on the BTN. Purdue looked awful.

Get this one. As of last night----Purdue still had almost 9K tickets available for this game with ND. I couldn't believe that. A night game at home against a hated in-state rival, and Purdue can't sell it out?

I think the Danny Hope bloom is fading off.

Only thing I'd say about this game is that it is Purdue's super bowl

I actually handicapped the ND/Purdue game. I use the South Bend Tribune and the Indianapolis Star for injury reports/benchings/other info on ND/Purdue/Indiana, and the game ticket info was in an article from yesterday.

As for Indiana and Penn State---a no play for me. I think Penn State rolls---but that number is right in the way of getting screwed by a 4th quarter back door score. Indiana can't stop anyone, and Penn State should be able to put up 35-42 points. I just don't know where Indiana's number comes in.

                  Purdue is horrific.

ND's only weakness is its turnovers, which will regress from such a high average. Tats they only reason ND looks beatable, is their tendacy to give their opponents extra possessions.

I dont like going on people just saying they will cover because the other team is bad. If you have watched the games you could say alot of teams are bad BUt could easily cover especially at home. Im not sayingim taking this game but come on fellas your excuse is because they are bad atleast martin came up with a few facts.

^ Oklahoma has the tendency to let up in the 2nd half if they up big. I feel a backdoor cover just like the LSU/Kentucky game.

purdue will find a way to cover, +13 seems good. They have historically been a great home dog and Notre dame a bad favorite. Big game for boilermakers

notre dame will roll. too much offense and defense going against a crap team. nd f'd them up last year when they were more evenly matched......this year's teqams arent. nd offense sucked last week. keely will want to get back on track....and soon or later they have to play turnover free game......it might be tonight. give me -11 or 12 all day.
