Can someone please give some input in who has actually watched UTEP play? I wanna make a play on this game to go with a parlay so ill most likely blindly tail..... I've seen Houston play a tad bit against La tech and burned me in a 13pt teaser!

Don't parley them, this game has backdoor cover all over it.
I'm taking Houston, but utep played smu tough. Utep is not a good team, but houstons d is unpredictable hence the tight game vs la tech.

UTEP played South Florida very well last week until mid way through the 3rd qtr. I really like Houstons offensive ability, but their defense can be brain dead at times. If anything I would potentially look at the total for this game, leaning towards the over of 64. Just a thought.

gonna take UTEP in the first half, Houston is a bad road favorite and this series is typically dominated by the home team.

Personally, I'm going to watch the first half and then make a determination as to whether UH would be a good 2nd half play at somewhere between -6.5 -> -8.5. If they're blowing UTEP out at the half, I'm not going to touch it. Coogahs may very well cover -16.5 for the game... but given their lack of defensive prowess, I'm not willing to bet on it.

UTEP was pretty impressive against USF last week in the first half atleast. They were able to move the ball against a D that is better than Houston's.
