I think a lot has to go right for FSU to win. I'm going to have a small wager on Oklahoma

This is the best FSU team in years and they have a much better defense than Oklahoma does. Also, Noles have even held back offensively the first two games vs. easy opponents, you should see the whole playbook tonight.

What has anyone besides Bama & LSU done to deserve a top 5 ranking at this point? This early in the season very few teams have played games of any significance, but someone has to be ranked there. As an FSU alum I won't touch this game, but I will say the Noles defense has a lot more experience this year & plenty of 1st round NFL talent. I expect a much closer game than last year in Norman.

I have a pretty heavy play on Florida State. To me, FSU is on the right side of this and Oklahoma is going to have to overcome these two major obstacles:
1) Road woes. Oklahoma, under Landry Jones, has been a completely different team in pure road games.
2) Florida State is an SEC-caliber team. How has Oklahoma done against the SEC? Just like the rest of the country, not good.
I don't understand at all why Oklahoma is favored here on the road, at night in a hostile environment.

Your first reason is valid but the second one is comical.
OU beat Florida St. 47-17 last year and it wasn't even that close. FSU scored on a 50 yard TD as time expired against our backups.
How can you say OU doesn't play well against teams like FSU when we destroyed them last year?
I think OU will have a hard time winning tonight because it's a road game against a top 5 team. Those are always hard to win.

Florida State can have as much talent as they want, then triple that amount. Problem is their players are stupid and undisciplined. That is why they will lose, mistakes.
