    Arkansas -23 Backers Beware
I'm a Hog fan and live in Fayetteville, but this week I would stay away from the Razorbacks -23.
The Hogs got banged up last week against UNM. QB Tyler Wilson had concussion like symptoms and there were other injuries. Captain DE Jake Bequette and Captain WR Jarius Wright along with Greg Childs will be out this week. And with Bama next week, I can see Bobby Petrino resting his starters once they get a 14 or 17 point lead. I highly doubt starters will play a lot past the first half. The hogs will then go to the ground game in the 2h and that will not lead to many points. This is a game I would stay away from. But if you have to play anything, play the over for I think points will be scored by both teams.

    definately a no-play for me

tyler told me the other day he expects to only play first half maybe 3 quarters

    Troy QB is actually decent

If you can tease it down to the teens then it may be a play but 20's is a no-go for sure

Argument against Arkansas covering: Bequette(DE) and Wright(WR)(2 team captains and stud players) are out. Additionally, Troy is the best team Ark will have played to this point and is a potential 'look ahead' game as Alabama looms next week.

Argument for Arkansas covering: DL and WR are Arkansas deepest position. Losing Bequette and Wright will definitely hurt but we have capable backups, especially at WR.

I still like Arkansas to cover the spread as they are very deep in both DL and WR position and having Dennis Johnson(RB and KR) back will help significantly as Arkansas does not have good RB depth.

About Wilson(QB): I believe Wilson has played between 2 to 3 quarters in the 2 previous games. We already know they are 2-0 ATS in 2011 and have more than covered the spread in those cupcake games despite Wilson only playing ~2.5 quarters per game. Brandon Mitchell is a very capable backup QB and there is a noticeable dropoff from Wilson but he should consistently lead scoring drives against Troy's defense.

Troy is young but kept it close against a down Clemson team before getting eventually blown out. I think Arkansas wins by 4 touchdowns in this one. 42-14.
