    West Virgina vs Maryland
I would like some input from readers with actual knowledge of betting, instead of the drivel that many post on here, who do no home work on the teams and games they are speaking about. This West Virgina/Maryland game is intriguing to me, and I have watched both teams play this year, Maryland/ Miami, and West Virgina/ Marshall. I want to bring myself to take a good size play on West Virgina, but I am not quite yet ready to pull the trigger on it, so that is why I am asking for input from quality posters. Thank you, and much appreciated!

Like you, I watched the Miami game as well as WV/Marshall game. What I can tell you is Geno Smith is a beast. I have followed the kid for a couple years and yes he can play, BUT WV hasn't really been tested this year. the QB for Maryland O'brien I Think his name is can play. He can easily throw for over 300 yards on WV and has the receiving tools to do so, Dorsey and that tyler kid. Now Miami is not like they used to be, but they still had raw talent even with 8 players suspended including there starting QB and one of the nations best safeties and yes Maryland beat the U but a depleted, decrypted Miami. Im leaning on WV +1 but there are a lot of better games to bet where the spread isnt so close to call. Like Stanford -10 @ Arizona

Don't know much about these teams except that many sharps around Vegas were liking West Virginia to do big things before the season started.

The line movement in this game is interesting. WV started at -2 and now are at +1. Would definitely wait for more information to make a bet on this game. Two new coaches, but Edsall knows about the players at West Virginia as he was in the Big East the past few years. Edsall at UCONN was 1-1 last year after coming off a bye week, loss at Louisville 26-0, win against Pitt at home 30-28. In 2009 Edsall was 1-1 coming off a bye week, loss at Pitt 24-21, win at Notre Dame 33-30.

west virginia has under performed so far this year, they haven't met expectations. Meanwhile Maryland was able to just sneak by a defenseless Miami. All Maryland did in that game were short passes and WR screens, so if you think WVU can hold up against these quick screens and no huddle offensive tempo then take them.

I actually like Maryland. Both have great offenses but I'll ride with a Gary Crowton offense in this type of game. Maryland also had a week
off. This may be a play for me!

Better games than this one imho, but I'd take the Mountaineers if I was playing. More confident in their ability to stop O'Brien than the Terps ability to stop Geno.
