What's your view on Iowa -3.5 vs. Pitt
No doubt whatsoever this line is built in perception from Iowa's loss.

Iowa would be -7 minimum if they covered easily last week

Question is what's the general perception of everyone to see if the line will be bet down or up or stay the same in time to get reduced juice when it comes out Friday

could go to -3 or -7 but Iowa -3.5 is without question the play. No chance PITT is good enough to be this small in Iowa City

    Tough game.

I'm all about betting against Pitt normally, but Iowa just lost to a team who is 5.5pt underdogs to UConn.

PITT beat 4-7 FCS Maine 35-29 at home with their QB throwing 2 INTs

Iowa got beat on the road in a Rivalry game. They are not close to a bad team

-3.5 is such a bad line but dont know whether to be patient

It's down to 3 at the Wynn. Line opened at -4 and now it is -3

I started a thread about a show called Linemakers..On the show they talked about teams who have value this season, Pitt is the only one I remember because they play Iowa. Iowa has too many holes for me to bet on them this year. They usually beat Penn State and then lose to NW and Minn. Hard to cap a team like that.

Iowa is slow defensively and weaker than usual up front, plus there might be a hangover effect from last weekend's loss. Like you said, that was built into the line, though. Hard not to take the bait with the Hawks in a damn tough place to play against a mediocre team.

Iowa always seems to bounce back from a loss to Iowa State to do well. Besides, Pitt has no business going into anybody's house and coming within a TD after the way they played vs. Maine and Buffalo.
