South Carolina-145 ML over Georgia ( 2 unit)

South Carolina knows that this is one of the toughest games left on the slate, and dodging this bullet will probably let it soar into the Top 10 in the land, potentially for quite some time.
These are two programs that have been headed in different directions over the past few seasons as the edge clearly lies with South Carolina in this one. Stick with the Gamecocks to really turn the heat up on Georgia head coach Mark Richt, by sending his Bulldogs to a 0-2 start. Georgia was exposed last week as the defense was torched against Boise State. The Gamecocks started slow against East Carolina, but won big in the end. Aaron Murray is a talented quarterback for Georgia, but they are still over matched in this game. The Bulldogs are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following a loss and will struggle in this game. It is tough to beat any SEC team on the road but the Gamecocks are far more talented and don’t mind running it up.

    BYU+7.5 @ -123 over Texas (1 unit)

Many probably don’t realize the significance of this game for these two teams. This is yet another example of what BYU can do with its independence, and it can get ranked in the Top 25 in the land with a ‘W’. Could Texas be going this independent route as well, or will it head into the Pac-12? A win or a loss in this game may actually help make that decision, especially knowing how well the Cougs could do this year with 12 non-conference games. The Texas Longhorns host the BYU Cougars with their future in doubt, as the Big 12 looks like it will be dismantled very soon. In week one Jake Heaps was impressive in the air for the Cougars, but with a limited rushing attack, they needed defense to win. Texas had a blowout win over Rice. Malcolm Brown led a successful ground attack for the Horns, but this game will be abut defense. The Longhorns are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite and with two teams good on defense, I like my chances with the points.

    Utah+9 @ -116 over USC ( 1 unit)

USC's offensive line hasn't faced a front seven like Utah's—Barkley will not have as much time to throw the ball. Utah will be testing USC's offensive line while USC will be testing Jordan Wynn's poise under pressure. If this becomes somewhat of a snooze fest offensively, the Utes are in the game.

Alabama- 4/Cincinnati+10.5 (tease play) #2 units
    Take it to the Bank
The Tide is huge up front and Penn State will not be able to run against a front line that held Kent State to -9 yards rushing a week ago. The Crimson Tide are 7-0 ATS in their last seven non-conference games, but the real edge is on defense.
Tennessee has the higher top level talent but Cincinnati has the playmakers at the skill positions to move the ball on offense and they aren’t going to back down from anyone.

    small leans for me.
    Middle Tennessee+11.5 @ -117 over Georgia Tech
    Auburn+6 @ -118 over Mississippi St
