Anyone else on State? Big play for me, I think they will easily handle Army. I expect Lindley and Hillman to both have a solid day for the Aztecs.

State will win and cover but If spread goes up to 10 or more I'd backoff. Army did get smashed last week but don't expect the same.

I saw the 12 noon start time and thought that could be a problem for SDSU. Looked at this game a little more and now SDSU is my favorite pick of the week at -9 1/2.

horrible body clock game for sdsu. army is better then they looked last week. expect state to be sluggish early. lean to army and the under (inflated due to last weeks shootouts).

Although I'm still going to play SDSU pretty heavily, one thing to think about is that they got held up at the airport last night due to the blackout in San Diego county.

Big reason on why I like SDSU -9.5 over Army...

SDSU is experienced defending the option attack. This is their 3rd consecutive game facing teams that run the option. They faced Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl and opened up the season with Cal Poly. The former coach of Cal Poly who structured their option attack is, wait for it...

SDSU defense will suffocate the option run by Army and their superior athletes will propel SDSU to an easy victory 35-17 SDSU.
