Western Kentucky +16.5 and Memphis +31 tonight
get this season started off 2-0.

watch rainey run all over kentucky and while i think miss st is top 4 team in sec they are slow paced and i say relf makes a mistake or two and 31 is to much to give a team on the road on opening night. anybody who has played football knows that teams play above there head opening night because even memphis thinks there going to do big things.

Like Memphis did last year? Not saying you won't be 2-0 but teams playing over their head on opening nights mean nothing. That adrenaline last for maybe 1 quarter. I see the State game being close at 1st with State pulling away by 28-36 points. Rainey is a very solid back for WKU but Kentucky will do whatever they want in this game. Rainey will be a non factor if WKU lets Kentucky get up real big as expected. CFB is definitely great for debate. Good luck!

you bring up great points but relf isnt really the kind of quarterback that can beat you throwing the ball and they are a grind it out team with 2 great runningbacks but keep in mind memphis although horrible as they are has the number 2 rated run stuffer in the junior class as per nfldraftscout.com, spoting 31 when your that kind of team leaves you no room for error as to say oklahoma or oregan spoting that margin.

i absolutly love what rainey does and i am a firm believer kentucky is not a bowl team by any means this year. there qb situation will be a mess. they have two pros in the linebacker and winton guy is a stuf but besides those 2 they are not a whole lot better. i think rainey goes for 180 or better.

i love these two games but you make great points as well

I know the W. Kentucky RB is pretty good but hows their O-line this year, as far as returning starters?

Relf used to not be a a QB who couldnt beat you through the air but if you saw him last three games of year last year, you know it's a different story. Tyler russell, our backup went for 300 plus last year and Menphis lost 2 secondary starters and we gave all receivers and QBs back

Their offense is going to be REALLY good this year. Much more explosive then we are used to seeing from the bulldogs. Games like last year when they gave the game away against Auburn and Arkansas won't happen this year.

Mississippi State annihilated Michigan's defense in the Outback Bowl last year, and Memphis was one of the only teams in the country with a pass defense worse than Michigan that season.

However, will the heat be a factor? Both games are going to have triple-digit temps at kickoff, even for night games.

I think western Kentucky is in over their heads, but that is a big spread. Should be fun to watch.

645 yards of total offense. Might be an offense to lay points with in the future. haha just giving you a hard time
