It is in Nashville, TN. Usually I would agree with laying that much. However, the more I break this game down the more I realize that Kentucky can win almost by as much as they want to. It will be up to them how high they run the score up. I expect a 24-30 point victory. Guess we shall see. BOL on your plays

I like Western here... They will be able to run the ball and keep this close... Kentucky has superior athletes but everyone that did damage for them in this game last year is gone... Cobb, Locke etc... QB who is not super dynamic whereas Western brings back a ton on both sides and an incoming Juco LB who was originally one of Miami FL biggest recruits but did not make grades....

I think Kentucky will win 38-24 ish

I don't think Western has enough D to stop Kentucky from scoring 30 pts... my bet was that they will score 3 TDs of their own...

This is not to say that Kentucky is anywhere near the offensive team that they were last year, just that they should dominate on the OL vs an undersized Hilltopper DL... Kentucky just does not have that dynamic play-maker this year as far as I can tell.

The total does seem about 3-4 pts too low to me... considering 9 of Kentuckys games last year went well over 49 pts... there is no way I could argue against an over play... maybe line is low because they anticipate both teams to have moderate success on the ground while the clock churns away and the ball wont be in the air much..

Enjoy watching Bobby Rainey for Western... he is special.. I saw him play in person last year against Nebraska.

I agree that line movement is tilting toward WKU but I think UKs D will step up. They return 9 starters and Danny Trevathan is an All Conference performer at LB. If WKU gets down a few scores early I think its goodnight for the Hilltoppers as far as covering. Rainey ripped them last year, but playing from behind will not help matters since WKU will being going up against what last year ranked as the 14th best pass defense in the NCAA. WKU will need big plays a plenty to keep this one within a few scores. Cats physicality wears the Toppers down, 38-17.

You really think the hilltoppers have ANY shot to win their THIRD game as a FBS school. Those 2 wins last year where their first 2 wins as a FBS school. I see an epic beatdown, but the beauty of football is we rarely truly know what we think we know.
