I think Mettenberger was slated to prolly take over after 4 or 5 games. i think its a plus not having jefferson at QB. He is sooooo sporadic.

I liked Oregon to win this game. I suspect that they still will, but the key loss will probably result in a tighter game. I really don't buy any suggestion that LSU can compete at a high level.

Jefferson is going down. If he had to lawyer up, he is in big trouble. It really does not matter because Jefferson could not start on any Pac 12 team. That is how bad he is.

It is now being reported that witnesses ared saying that Jefferson kicked a Marine, who was trying to help one of the victims, in the head. The Marine was hospitalized. If this is true, I hope that a group of Marines find that dumb Son of a B**ch and beat the living daylights out of him. Beat him to an inch of his life. He deserves no less. Typical "Hood" mentality. This is what happens when you allow people like Jefferson to play football. These guys could not pass a 6th grade math test, but they think they are hot caca.

Again, who cares? Jefferson not playing would actually be an upgrade anyway and the key to this game has nothing to do with the LSU offense, it will be the Oregon offense not being able to do shit vs. the LSU defense.

It will be interesting to see what the total is when it goes back up, because the 'under' may be worth a long look.

I can't predict the future and I meant no harm. I've watched both teams a lot and I live close to LSU country lol. LSU has a better d then AU did last yr and that gives Oregon issues. LSU's d will control the game, as long as LSU is decent with Lee at qb they will still be just as good as they were with jefferson. Just b careful with the thougblht that Oregon's chances improved greatly bc JJ is out

I agree Losing Jefferson isn't a big deal. He has been the weak link on that team for a while

Because Oregon won't be able to score like they do vs. Pac-10 defenses. The last two times they faced defenses relatively close to LSU's, they scored 19 points vs. Auburn last year and 17 vs. Ohio State two years ago, and the LSU defense this year should be better than both of those.

Oregon wins ths game easily. LSU, which had a terrible offense before all of this caca came down, now loses Jefferson (no big deal) and Shepard (a very big deal). LSU may not score in this game.
