I don't really see how Tulsa's brutal losses to 3 top teams are any more meaningful than if they had huge wins over 3 weak FCS schools. Either way, the games were against teams that don't really compare.Comment -

#601The argument could be made that if both teams had played Houston's schedule that there could be two undefeated teams in this game. That's fair, however it doesn't translate into value on Tulsa, IMO. I disagree that Tulsa deserves all that much credit for their games against OU/OKSt/BSU because they got absolutely thrashed in all three, losing by an average of 26 points and being outscored in the first halves of those games 88-13. The remainder of their points came when the game was out of reach and their opponents didn't care. Those three high-powered passing attacks took advantage of Tulsa's fairly weak secondary (107th pass defense), and Keenum is definitely in the Moore/Jones/Weeden weight class. He's going to sit in the pocket behind his 16th ranked pass protection and have a lot of time to operate as Tulsa doesn't have much of a pass rush.

you dont think being seasoned vs other top offenses/teams is meaningful? houston has never seen an offense like tulsa, and tulsa has seen 3 offenses that are just as good as houston's (and likely better). ive played sports my whole life, and prepping vs better competition makes you a better team. i played baseball and when we were 14 my coach would make us start the season in a 16 year old division to face better competition. we got our asses handed to us, but when we went back to face teams on our level, we destroyed them.Comment -

#602Dex if I were to take this play I would take Texas with the points and the under. I would wait until game time because the public is pushing the spread upwards. It is at 8.5 right now. I am getting different outcomes on the total so that cancels that for me, but the line movement says go with the under. I will probably wait and see if I can get 9 and make a play with Texas. Texas A&M is overrated and Texas' defense has picked up lately.Good Job A Da and Dex!

#603right, and if there were 2 undefeated teams in this game, tulsa would be the favorite. instead i am getting 3-3.5 pts on a home dog who only lost their games because they ran into college's elite.

#608Except in that analogy, the 14 year olds are finishing off their season with another game against the 16 year olds (with respect to Houston's passing game only). Most of what I predict about games falls apart fairly quickly in the game. I'm actually getting really excited to watch this one, as I expect it will be a great game. GL today DexComment -

#615Hi,
Totally trust in Dexter. Made my biggest bet of the year on tulsa-houston over!
It´s 13-10 halftime. I have faith in Dexter. He knows what he is doing and went 5u on this game so lets hope it goes way over for second half.
I really need this one to cash. And Dexter would never go so big himself if he wasn´t sure this game would go over and cash.
What do you guys think? Isn´t this a sure casher second half?Comment -
