just move down here to Alabama for a while. During last season it got bad... got worse week to week. After the championship game it went a little out of control.... and now, in the last couple of weeks it has gotten to the danger level. I'm talking "someone or multiple people" will likely end up being murdered at this rate. I've lived here all my life and have absolutely never seen it anywhere close to this intense... there is absolute HATRED for each other right now.

If someone has to be shot, I am willing to let it be Saban.

Alabama will get revenge this year in a big way. I don't like either team but Bama shouldn't lose more than 1 game even with a new quarterback. I think Auburn will struggle to win 8 games.

The majority of fans that are involved in the Rivalry are intense and passionate which is a good thing but as with anything a few bad eggs can make everyone look bad......ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rivalries are awesome for sports and college football, but the idiots that take it too far are usually the ones who couldn't even dream about going to the college they support......I was at the University of South Carolina for the last 4 years and 95% of the redneck morons causing the most trouble at and around the Clemson-SC games were almost certainly not students or alumni of the said schools. Of course, things can get a little wild between usually drunk and hammered students of both schools of a rivalry, but the most serious and pathetic issues were usually among 30+ year olds which is just sad. I suspect that this is also the case with the Auburn- Alabama rivalry......Case in point: Harvey Updyke Jr.

You clowns miss the point. EVERYONE needs to step the rhetoric down. Rabid fans who want to shoot coaches, poison trees, and the like are the problem.

For example, I'm proud when Alabama does well, when Florida does well, and then when LSU does well. To top it off, I really like it when Auburn does well. Probably the only school I'm somewhat ambivalent to is Tennessee.

I know that the SEC is, and has been, the best conference in the land as I've calced up the numbers.
