Coaches Who Need Jobs

There are several coaching free agents out there who would love to get back on the sideline in 2012. Here's a few coaches with their ex-school and career record.

Rich Rodriquez, Michigan (118-76)
Mike Bellotti, Oregon (116-55)
Tommy Bowden, Clemson (90-49)
Mike Leach, Texas Tech (84043)
Mark Mangino, Kansas (50-48)

There are others.....who do you think has the best change to coach next season?

If the Dabo experiment fails at Clemson (and I think it will), I believe RichRod will be on the sideline in Death Valley in 2012.

Rods will land somewhere in the next year or two. Might have to take an offensive coordinators position first but he will land somewhere soon.

For the life of me, I can't understand why someone doesn't jump on Mike Leach. Yes, he's not like most traditional coaches....but he can win.

Leach is blacklisted. No FBS University will take him. Ditto Mangino. I have no idea what Bellotti is thinking about. No one with the last name of Bowden is going to get serious attention. Rich Rod appears to be the most likey of those listed to get a job.

Sometimes a former head coach needs to step back in order get the big gig again. Former Clemson and Memphis State head coach Tommy West is now the defensive coordinator at UAB. Let him do a good job and his name will start circulating again....maybe not the bigtime schools, but others.

Many ex-head coaches ego want let them step back.
