    CFB Tout Service Records 2010
First, most tout services are sleazy and deceitful to say the least. They promote themselves with bogus records trying to gain (suckers) customers. Listed below are the 2010 documented records of services who allowed The Sports Monitor of Oklahoma to track them. Let me point out that most monitoring services are shams also but I have no reason to beleive TSMO is not on the up and up. I've tracked them for years.

    (64%) The Trophy Club 32-18
    (63.1%) Game Day Pulse 26-15
    (63&) Total Sports Solutions 29-17
    (61.2%) Alatex Sports 61-38
    (60.7%) BetOnSports 48-31
    (59.3%) Gamblers Ally 38-26
    (59%) Triple Crown Sports 36-25
    (58.7%) Jason Sharp 27-19 (Doc's Sports)
    (58.5%) Marco D'Angelo 41-29
    (58.5%) The Killermove 41-29
    (57.8%) Gilberg The Dataman 33-24
    (57.3%) WiseGuyEdge 51-38
    (56.9%) International Sports Brokerage
    (56.6%) Accupicks 47-36
    (56.4%) Carolina Sports 66-51
    (56.1%) Tom Freeze 32-25
    (56.0% Jeff Taylor Consulting 139-109
    (55.7%) The GridIron Sports 29-23
    (55.5%) K&B Sports 30-24
    (55.4%) Hurricane Bill 46-37
    (55.3%) Houston Sports 30-24
    (55.2%) Rob Veno Sports 68-55
    (55.0%) Wayne Root 22-18
    (54.9%) Dave Fobare's Sports 50-41
    (54.8%) Smart Analysis 91-75

    (54.7%) Allen Eastman 91-75
    (54.6%) Lem Banker 59-49
    (54.3%) Al McMordie 50-42
    (54.2%) The Sportsmen 38-32
    (54.2%) Late Winners 191-161
    (54.2%) Strike Point Sports 45-38
    (54.0%) Punish The Book 81-69
    (54.0%) Advantage Sports 27-23
    (53.8%) Elite Sports Group 21-18
    (53.8%) 3G Sports 49-42
    (53.5%) Sir Duke Sports 38-33
    (53.3%) Billy Coleman Sports 40-35
    (52.8%) Maddux Sports 64-57
    (52.4%) JEM Football 54-49

A number of services who get off to a bad start drop out. This is the best of those who met all guidelines for being monitored. Friends, these are supposedly professionals who get paid for picking games. Be careful when you see someone boast of unbelievable records especially with their lock plays and oldest line of them all, the 10-star pick. Run like hell from these vipers........

First of all, TSMO is like all the rest of the monitors. They specifically choose which particular service of a particular tout to monitor. Phil Steele runs over 20 different tout services. Monitors can (for a price) pick the service that ranked the highest amongst his 20+ servies and use that service to say that Phil Steele had a 60% winning rate. The giveaway is in the numbers. Look at Wayne Root's numbers. Root had 5 different services going last footbsall season. According to TSMO, his record was 22-18. Do you really think that over the course of an entire season, Root only gave out a total of 40 picks with his 5 different servivces? Obviously not. The number is much higher. That is why "Monitor" services are as phony as the Touts themselves.

You can find them some of them in his magazine, which comes out next week, but here are a few. Look for anything with a "Northcoast" name on it. That is owned and operated by Steele. They have Saturday picks, Thursday picks, and others. These include phone picks, and picks sent to your computer. They come in all different price ranges. Combine those with all the different services found in Steele's magazine and his weekly newsletter and you get a huge number. Last year I beleive the number was 21 different services for college alone.

Mark Lawrence, who publishes the playbook, had over 25 other handicappers advertising, and offering plays under his banner, including oldie but goodie Jim Feist. Feist also does his thing with Don Best. This goes on and on.

My take on the monitoring service mentioned above is they are an honorable source for people to look at how 'money cappers who charge' are doing. They have guidelines and those who follow those guidelines are charted. MOST services wouldn't go near them because they would be exposed if they have a bad year.

My point is this....don't believe the 70% BS and all the other crap that will thrown out here at SBR when the season starts. Young kids get killed with this stupid stuff, especially college kids and most can't afford it. That bothers me! Otherwise, I don't give a rat's ass how anyone wants to gamble.

I hear you Work. Here is just an example of how the racket really works. You list Jason Sharp of Doc's sports. Doc Sports is teamed up with Mark Lawrence, though there is no mention of Jason sharp. They also list Hurricane Bill, another member of lawrences "team", but not "Hurricane Bill Sports". This goes on and on. Again, if you need to use a tout, you are in the wrong business. GET OUT NOW, or don't go crying to mommy when you lose your money, your ass, or both.

An interesting thing is, Northcoast was once an honest group.

A more interesting angle would be to look at all the services who finish in the BOTTOM 50. We always see who is at the "top". Who cares about these guys, as you can make your cash fading the bottom feeders, which as has been pointed out above, is sure to include various well known services.

It seems to me that picking 54% losers would have about the same probability of picking 54% winners for most cappers, touts or otherwise. I guess that I don't see the logic.

I think it might clarify the multiple "services" various touts put out. You might also see which well named services all of a sudden "stop" putting out games, and switch to other names or use just the "winning" ones.

I agree with you about the 54%, which means nothing, as it's more random with a small sample size, but the BOTTOM 50 would have %'s closer to 42%, 40%, etc, and that would be more statistically significant.

Anyone ever use scamdicappers? I did a 3 day cheap trial last year, but you have to be quick when the picks go up. Is this not a legit tracking service?

Not sure why folks want to spent time on tracking "scamdicappers" when that time can be used to understand the sport.
