Since 90% of you don't visit soccer football section (where my thread is at), I thought I'll quote it in players talk as well for you football junkies.

I 'greened' myself in Auburn v Oregon game before half time, so no matter who would have won last night,
I was in + side on both teams. I will explain how I did this:

I placed four more live bets during the game because I felt that my initial bet 'Auburn +2.5' may be a loss. Therefore I had to react, so I would not lose 4x in case of Oregon winning more than 2.5pts.

 3-7  auburn lead, lay auburn      @1,70 (-143) for 5x = O+5,00 A-3,50
16-11 auburn HT lead, lay auburn   @1,60 (-167) for 2x = O+2,00 A-1,20

That makes:
Auburn win: +3,32 -3,00 +6,88 -3,50 -1,20 = 2,50x
Oregon win: -4,00 +6,36 -4,00 +5,00 +2,00 = 5,36x

In this case I won 2,50x last night.

risk-free gambling? definitely possible.

monte, not sure what your problem is, but i wrote american odds in brackets because i knew that people like you will bitch around about the oh-so-difficult decimal odds. must have overlooked it, mate. go buy glasses and look again.

of course there is no such thing as risk-free betting. as hoja verdes also stated what if oregon blew auburn out, i'd have lost. that's true. but this match was meant to stay close either way. when opportunity presents itself, for example the dog leads, u gotta take it.

i took it and had a risk-free enjoyable 2H last night and i could cheer either team without worrying about my money.
