Stanford interested in Boise's Peterson?

Maybe. Stanford has made contact with Boise State's Chris Peterson as a possible replacement for Jim Harbaugh. It has been reported that Stanford athletic director Bob Bowlsby and Peterson have already had talks about becoming head coach for the Cardinals.

I believe Peterson would be a good fit for Stanford if given the opportunity.

Boise St. is a better program.

He can recruit anyone without worrying about their grades in high school.

At Stanford only certain types of kids can be recruited by the schools coach.

Besides its a big deal when Boise goes out of conference to play a big name school, its a novelty that Stanford doesnt offer.

Also the Stanford fans are nonexistent. So many times I would see them play a big name school on TV, and the Upper deck would be empty.
