people put way too much stock in the whole "the team is distracted and in turmoil" angle - Miami OH took care of business with an interim coach, & Stanford was supposedly distracted by all the Harbaugh talk - just a couple examples of this bowl season where so-called distractions didn't matter - I think the kids want to win period, regardless of the situation......

Line up to 4 1/2 with 51% on uk. I like the points with newton playing a huge game here. 60 points easy so the over is for me. No d by either team

Kentucky also beat SC and was tied with Auburn 4Q! The money seems to be moving in Pitts direction so we'll see? Its up to Ky +4.5 & +160 ML?

Two very good results, but they also got blown out by Florida, lost to Mississippi (Mississipi's only SEC win out of 8 conference games), lost at home to 6-7 Georgia by 13, got handled by Tennessee...
They were 2-6 in the SEC and padded their record with a ridiculous OOC schedule. Let's not just cherry pick their two good results. I wouldn't call them an SEC doormat, but "mediocre" SEC team sounds more than fair.

Kentucky's OOC schedule:
at Louisville 23-16 pretty good win, but Pitt whipped the same team
W Kentucky 62-28 W Kentucky went 2-10 as a Sun Belt doormat
Akron 47-10 Akron went 1-11 as a MAC doormat
Charleston Southern 49-21 Terrible 1-AA/FCS team
I don't think Kentucky should have been allowed in a bowl game. They're not a bad team, but it just pisses me off to see an OOC schedule like that. They went 6-6 with that OOC schedule? Why reward them with a bowl game?

I'm thinking it has to be the under here? Lot of running. QB out. Coach problems.

SECuares lining up on mediocre SEC team because they think Vandy would win the Big East before they lose more chasing with New Orleans and then Peyton Manning.
