I can buy it, but it was set to 59 at pinny so just stuck with that.

I'm less concerned about buying a half point for a push/win than I am for a lose/push... maybe that sounds silly but its true.

If the score ends up being 59 on the dot I will end up pushing. Had I bought the 1/2 point then I would have won. Hence the 1/2 point would make my wager a win instead of a push. (push/win)

If the line were 58.5 then I would more likely buy to 59. This way if the score ends up being 59 I push instead of lose, hence lose/push.

So....

You have 59.5 and I have 59. There's no bet that you will win where I will lose, just one number (59) where I push when you win. I'm less concerned about that personally so I opted to not buy the half point. -104 was a great line for the number I got.
