If you're the ref, you know the situation and you leave it alone. I don't care if the guy does the Ray Lewis dance and fondles a cheerleader. No time on the clock you just don't make that call. ESPECIALLY for that small of an infraction.

I guess anytime someone kneels on the ground and says a prayer, they need to throw the flag. I mean seriously what a joke. Maybe that kid's dad is in the military. K State has a big military connection. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that player had some military angle related to his school and was doing it out of some sort of respect for the armed services / Kansas State.

I agree this was an awful call. A completely unspectacular innocent act.

But don't get ahead of yourselves. There's no guarantee KS would have gotten the 2 anyway or would have won it in overtime. Or for that matter, that Syracuse wouldn't have driven and won it in regulation anyway.

It would have been nice to see an honest ending, though.
