Army fan / analysis

Guys,

I'm an Army fan. I've been to all of their home games this year and went to Army/Navy.

I felt compelled to give my thoughts here. The Army team is a decent running team and has a decent run defense. HOWEVER, THEY HAVE ZERO SECONDARY. The SMU style run and gun will eat up the secondary of Army. The only chance Army has to cover the spread is to milk the clock with the option and keep the ball away from SMU. However, I don't think Army's ball handlers have the speed to get around the outside of the SMU defensive ends therefore they will have to establish the fullback dive with an undersized offensive line. They have no chance to cover the spread guys.

I beg your pardon!!! Look; SMU is a passing nightmare. Army does have to run outside all the time.

If SMU cannot stop this option Army wins. Your offense cannot score sitting on the bench!

Army + 7 for me. Luck to you which ever way you go!!!

i woke up this morning leaning SMU but after doing some research and looking at picks from sharps, i went medium on army... i may regret it but i went 3-0 last night, got some money to burn... or earn

Army looking much better than I've seen them look this year. Maybe I need to rethink the 2nd half.

the team who is more prepared and gives a shit wins these bowl games, throw out what you saw during the year. there is a reason the armed forces schools dominate more than not. june jones is a clown and if you put money on him as a favorite when it comes down to chess and winning only matters, stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. general june jones

Good point. I Was at the Army/Navy game... I've seen Army give up a 14 point swing in minutes many times.

Not sure how I'm goin to play the 2H.. Seems like maybe an Under bet? Not sure though.

If SMU can,t score, very possible under is the obivious. Can Army hold.
