last thing people remember is army getting the rail gun shoved up their ass by navy, not sure why anyone is betting this team. they must be taking them because they are in the armed forces and that is the name of the bowl, makes total sense and is a good a reason as any

This is a home game for SMU. It is being played on their home field. Look for some scoring in here, but the dogs have not fared well this season. 0-3 yesterday. 4-10 overall.

Some factors in Armys favor is that they play disciplined football. They rank 6th in turnover margin compared to SMU who comes in at 106th. Army also ranks better in the penalty department. These bowl games have been swung by turnovers, GTs muffed punts, Toledo and Hawaii throwing multiple INTs, Iowa's pick 6 and ECU's inability to take care of the football yesterday are some examples. SMU is an average football team but I'm not sure they can cover the 7 if they have some turnovers to overcome.

Army will be in a lot of trouble if they get down by 2 scores. They will press and that will cause turnovers. SMU should and needs to come out strong to take the running game for Army out and force them to throw it.

not sure it is the running game giving them a problem, it is as utmoody stated a few posts ago.
Poor discipline and turnovers that has killed SMU.

Either way Army looks in control of this one.

So far the Army backers are right on track. I have to be honest, I picked SMU because it was a home game for them.

Thanks for the recognition slim. At the end of the game Army comes away victorious with 0 penalties and 0 turnovers. SMU did well in the penalty department having 3 penalties for 35 yards but as expected they dug themselves a hole to deep with 2 INTs and a fumble. It would be great if I was this on point every game.
