    Iowa vs. Missouri
First, this is my 4th highest rated bowl game. The top 3 are yet to come. Really like missouri here. Once again, i think one team comes in going one direction, and the other going in the complete opposite. Missouri has two losses on the year: Nebraska and texas tech. Losing nebraska isnt such a horrid thing, and the week after a let down against texas tech. Since then they have gotten back on track. On the otherhand, iowa has stumbled down the stretch, and has lost 2 of their best offensive weapons for this game in pot head koli and rb robinson.

I watched iowa all season long, and even won my goy when they smashed mich st, but they arent the same team right now, and they arent at home. Iowa is 2-5 this year away from home. Missouri played a tougher schedule, is the more talanted and balanced team in my opinion. Again, i find myself laying 2.5 in this game. Tes, i am taking 2 favs today, but i really cant see how anyone can back iowa right now. Injuries, suspensions, and erractic play especially on the road, which i consider this to be for both teams, has me backing the tigers.

Tigers have many more options imo. Egnew is an excelltn te, and moe has 77 catches on the year and has very sure hands. The running game has not one superstar, but 2 or 3 will be used, and most likely will be effective enough. I like missouri d and o line play much better as well.

    Tigers -2.5

    good luck to all.

    Agree.
Offenses are both good, but Missouri has the better defense, and with Iowa's star WR out, that takes a lot of pressure off of them.
Also, MU coach Pinkel is very focused this year, he was criticized for letting the kids take Navy lightly last yr... MU was 7 pt favorites and got blown out 35-13. Iowa is a BCS school and should not be taken lightly but they were 7-5 and MU was 10-2, so Pinkel knows he has to sell the team on the fact that they cannot come out flat like last yr.

Everything points toward Missouri and most people are on the Tigers. . .that's the only thing that worries me about the pick.

Same here, seems to easy. Iowa is down some players but still have their QB and solid defensive and offensive lines. Could see them winning.

missouri looks nice on paper but wonder if theyll be able to handle iowas defensive line but at the same time iowa is missing 2 key players which is not going to play to their favor. i do feel missouri is improved this yr they beat oklahoma in impressive fashion i think theyll come out with a nice showing in terms of effort n have the talent to overcome iowa a team in a downward spiral.

Bookmakers are giving too much respect to iowa based on bowl games history and the fact that they play at home.
I'll put my money on the better team here.

            Missouri ML for me

What do you mean "they play at home"? The game is in Tempe, AZ.

All signs point to a Missouri blow out. I never like too much action on a single side though.

Missouri should definitely take this with all those Iowa guys suspended.

Missouri and over 46.5. Iowa quit. Missouri needs to look at the tapes of Iowa against NW and Indiana.

This game is easy... Iowa had Rose Bowl hopes....pre-season hype.... and just crashed and burned so there is no motivation... Missouri came out of nowhere to beat oklahoma then lost to nebraska so they are still hungry for redemption.

With Iowa missing 2 of their biggest playmakers on offense it would certainly appear that Mizzou would be an easy pick but the line only at -2.5 makes you wonder

Leaning mizzou, all signs on paper point that direction, but I've learned sometimes that can be a bad thing with bowl games like this.

Well Gabbert was the diference. How do you throw a lob pass in tight coverage when your team is leading by 4 and it's in field goal range to seal the game?
