Only one game (BYU) was a significant favorite... the others 1.5, 2, 2.5, not worthy of a "trend" though technically correct.
Tonite, 17 pts... early bowl season BIG underdogs cover a lot.
Will Boise St be flat, go thru the motions, down in the dumps, that they go overlooked? Goddam LV Bowl instead of sunny Florida on New Yrs day or AZ or The Rose Bowl?
OR will they be pissed off and beat the crap out of Utah, who is leaving the MWC for the Pac-10... and Boise is coming to the MWC! HA!
This game will be 100% motivation. Guess what Boise will be thinking. Hard to do.

Boise will continue to play at full throttle...They will be motivated again to prove they are a more worthy team and shove it down the throat of those who under estimate their ability...Even with Boise losing one of their key linebackers the defense with shut down the back up quarterback for Utah....Boise St..41..Utah...17...

Two in-state schools that should have a Rivalry but they don't because they rarely face each other (five meetings in the past twenty-five years). If Boise was playing anyone except the Utes, I would expect a letdown and take the points. However, given the circumstances, methinks that the Broncos are going to run the Utes out of Sam Boyd stadium.

Yeah... I'm a dumbazz. That's what I get for posting before I've had my first cup of coffee. But, they're natiral rivals that have rarely played and I still feel that Utah's antics are gonna provide BSU with enough motivation to blow them out of the stadium.
