    LSU's Les Miles, ESPN's OTL---
I knew Miles was a douchebag.

I didn't know he was this bad.

Martin - this happens at every school. It's been this way for quite some time. Blame the ncaa for not guaranteeing schollies until graduation, blame the 85 limit, that's the real problems. The schools and the NCAA all make money off the backs of these kids and want to maximize their profits by keeping a lot of other talented kids off of teams but keeps the smaller teams competitive.

Football is big business. You have to have the best players on your team. If your Les Miles are you going to keep a guy who's not performing? Not if you want to keep your job. It is what it is. Name me a coach and I'll tell you several similar decisions.

OTL did practically the same show topic on John Calipari when he first came to Kentucky,
      .

He kicked off 4 guys, from the previous coaches roster, in order to make room for his own.

Its a bad rule, and I dont not blame coaches for exercising their rights.

I don't mind Miles letting the kid go, but he was a lying sack of shit.

And then he trashed the kid at his press conference.

That is what I object to.

saw that and agree. He completely made the kid out to be a pussy who didnt want to compete. This stuff happens everywhere but dont embarrass the kid once he is off the team.

The kid might have been a pussy. We don't know, because none of us were there. All we know is that the kid is no longer on the team. I do agree that it is a sad deal to see kids get axed before the season due to oversignings though. I wouldn't believe everything you see reported on ESPN. They are driven at appealing to your emotions and sensationalizing. They tried very hard to tear Cam Newton down, but now he is a Heisman winner and is playing in the National Championship.

P.S. That kid must not have competed as Les said, because look at the shitty qb's that LSU has.

Yeah....I will. Les has been a class act most known for, other than terrible clock management, his character. He is loyal to a fault....please tell me why he is a poor excuse for a human being.

You mean besides lying to the kid's face, and then publicly trashing the kid's character?

Why couldn't Miles be an honest guy and say "You know what, we went in another direction, and we wish him well". No instead, Miles told the world the kid didn't want to compete. What purpose did that serve?

Oh yeah, Miles is just a great guy. Although----when you consider the trash at LSU, Miles may look like a quality guy. I mean, in parts of India----our toilet water would probably look like a caribbean Oasis.
