Fresno State should win. The Boise fans love the bulldogs when they are not playing them, so its almost a home field for fresno, plus Pat Hill wants to showcase Colburne for the pro's. Think Fresno will be very smart with the ball and the bulldog defense has gotten better as the year has gone on. I like troy as well, and just dont know what to think about the byu game.

Wow. Fresno State has NOT come through when they should have this year. N. Illinois is highway robbery this low. Although, the shitty Bronco turf will give the bounces to whomever karma feels fit.

If you want some advice, ou do not play these Mickey Mouse Bowl games. If you must, I would lean No. Illinois here becauseFresno State loses their MLB and #2 tackler on the team to suspension.

Small play on Fresno St. Not impressed by the MAC at all this year plus the price is right for what may have a home game feel for the Bulldogs.

I've got to go with N. Illinois big, Ohio in the middle, and BYU in the middle. I like the over in the BYU and the Ohio game. I am really looking forward to the Boise St game. They are going to make a statement on Utah. Put big money on them!

I'm not going to watch these games- the only way we ever get a playoff is if people stop paying attention to these ridiculous bowls!

I like Troy they will have crowd in their favor and no Boo at qb due to bad grades for Ohio. I like under 58 Fresno vs N Ill since weather looks like rain and snow

no doubt!!!! why all the love for a fresno team whose best win was against a 6-6 big 10 team and got their asses handed to them in 3 out of their 4 losses.....uni beating temple (which beat villanova and uconn and took penn st to the wire) was much more impressive than anything fresno has done ALL SEASON, and they have given up over 500 yards rushing in their last 2 bowl games, illinois just gashed them for 300+ and uni brings in a qb who is dangerous both running and throwing and his mobility (he has been sacked only 12 times ALL SEASON) will offset the pass rush fresno brings (yeah, fresno racked up lofty sack numbers this season, but tell me how many sacks they came up with against boise, ole miss, and nevada) fresno's 2nd leading tackler got left home, and as far as this sudden coaching change, the uni seniors experienced this same shit 3 years ago and are taking a proactive leadership role with the younger guys, and this interim coach -- mat whatever the **** his name is -- has been part of a defensive staff that has had the best defense in the MAC 2 straight years and was named FBS assistant coach of the year in 2007 and ranks 16th in the country this year, all of the position coaches are still in place, and with cold ass temps and snow showers in the forecast, fresno better be able to run the ball but their leading rusher will be wearing a cast on his hand against a uni rush defense that will be the 5th best fresno has faced (they lost vs the top 4 they faced BTW), sure uni has racked up impressive stats against MAC teams, but when the HELL did the WAC become such a great conference???results don't lie people, fresno was the 4th best team from the WAC but people are jumping on them like flies on a turf!!!!

No doubt! I think that loss to Miami (Oh) when being a 18pt favorite has the public mislead! NIU is the better team. NIU -1 is a steal! Cheers

and let me just add for you knuckleheads who are falling for the whole "the mac is 0-12 in bowl games the last 2 years" angle.....i got news for you....FRESNO IS 0-2 IN BOWL GAMES THE LAST 2 YEARS.....not only that, but the 2 teams that beat them hadn't won a bowl game in 5 and 7 years respectively and both teams were 6-6 squads representing the POWERFUL MWC.....pat hill and the bulldogs seem to be just what the doctor ordered for teams looking to end bowl droughts!!!!!!

Temple was NIU's best win but lost to Iowa State and Illinois (Fresno beat ILL comfortably)
NIU has 105 SOS to Fresno's 56.
NIU lost HC, OC, and DC..............
NIU 17 point fav lose SU for MAC title, now playing in Boise..now doubt they get up for that one
Pat Hill has Fresno focused down stretch with win over Illinois. He is locked in this game. Team responds to him and ready primed for bowl win.
Fresno has 2 year starter/senior QB Ryan Colburn looking to show up big for scouts in last game.
Fresno is the play of the bowl season.
