To me,the biggest line that stands out is Alabama -11. You have got to be kidding me. Alabama has nothing to gain here. Michigan State has everything to gain. State +11 in your Christmas Stocking.

Michigan State should roll. Angry and coming out for blood, this one could be ugly.

Michigan State has been a team that has one good win on the year and has been fortunate not to have a few more losses than they have now. The ND fake FG and two 4th quarter comebacks vs Norhtwestern and Purdue makes me question whether I would want to lay money on these guys.

Bama has two quality wins I would say and when facing competition that was inferior they took care of business. Losses to USC and LSU on the road and losing a Rivalry game to one of the best teams in the nation by 1 point are not bad losses. Being motivated may be a question but there are quite a few big time players for Bama that will be playing in their last game ever for the Tide. A double digit win isn't out of the question so I'll just sit back and watch.

I disagree, Bama is the play, and this is why....

Team that get snubbed from the BCS generally show poorly in the lower tier bowl games for whatever reason, prob due to the fact they feel they should be in the BCS.

2 examples that come to mind

Texas Tech over Cal in 2004 Holiday Bowl

Ole Miss over Texas Tech in the 2009 Cotton Bowl.

the 2009 bowl w/ TT, they were going through some turmoil I believe ? with the coach being fired and an intern coach taking his place..I could be wrong but I believe that is what happen, I do like what you are saying ..teams that believe they should be at a better bowl usally don't come out firing like they should , one of the reasons why I believe this is the best time of the year for halftime bets...your opinion jt?

I think Bama has been overvalued all year.. They lost so many guys from the defense and the OL and everyone thought they would be just as good as last year. And how will they be motivated after playing in the championship last year? So I agree Michigan St. is a strong play at 11..

TCU -3? I like Wisconsin to win this outright.
