    Nebraska vs Washington again......
Ugh. What a crap bowl for Nebraska. I still cant believe that Nebraska wasnt picked to play Iowa.... they chose Missouri over Nebraska. What BS! They said they made the decision based on Missouri being ranked higher that Nebraska. Why are they even ranked higher anyway.... Nebraska won the North and beat Missouri. Now they have to play Washington again. A team that they already beat by 35. This has to be the most disappointing bowl game in the history of Nebraska football.

So what will the line be??

Nebraska is not the same team that they were when they first faced Washington. Locker is player better for Washington. I feel like Nebraska will not be motivated to play this crap team again. Unless Vegas puts out a bogus line I'd have to say that taking Washington plus the points is the play here. If someone sees a line let us know!

Just an awful slate of games. How the heck is Northwestern and Texas Tech playing on New Year's Day? Are you kidding me? Tech was 3-5 in conference and Northwestern allowed 120 points in their last 2 games.

I guess Washington was the last pac 10 team eligible. Terrible game.

It might not be a 35 pt game again but Nebraska will destroy them for the second time; lay the points.

          Trickly game.

I'm more than sure that Nebraska has no interest in this game.

This game sucks. No one wants to watch this rematch. I rather watch Florida Atlantic vs Toledo... and thats saying a lot haha.

If you think about it Nebraska will have played Washington 3 times in one year
I am really upset about it too I was looking forward to at least Michigan!

This is the same thing that happened to Missouri a few years ago. Missouri destroyed Kansas, but then lost to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Champioship. Kansas then got to go to the Orange Bowl, while Missouri got screwed out of a BCS game. Sometimes going to the Big 12 Championship game hurts your chances.

Yeah it must be nice to be a (POS) Independent team like Notre Dame and just sit back and do nothing after the regular season and then enter a bowl game.

Atleast Notre Dame played a tougher schedule than Boise State and TCU

I'll tell you this..... Nebraska's offensive coordinator is fighting for his job. He better get the offense figured out or I'm sure he'll be fired.

They way i see it is either way its a let down for nebraska. we wont be them by 35 again and anything less is kinda failure i guess. There are a ton of people in nebraska mad about this game. I think that overall this was the worst bowl game selections I have ever seen across the board. Maybe its the bowl games way of pushing for a playoff system too? And I sure hope vanderbilt gets watson.

Taylor Martinez is more than likely bipolar, Bo Pelini may assault him at halftime, Nebraska killed Washington the first go around, just lost the Big 12 championship after blowing an early 17-0 lead and then be placed in this rematch in a bowl. All this adds up to an uninterested Nebraska team and more than likely the reason the spread looks so low, I echo Husker36's sentiments.

Sure Nebraska won by 35 on the road, but what are the odds that Jake Locker will go 4-20 with like 4 INTs again?

Actually, I'd say its pretty high...

Decided to answer my own question:

It was the 2007-08 season. Missouri was 10-2 with it's only two losses being against Oklahoma. #7 Missouri got put in the Cotton Bowl with #24 Arkansas. The line was -3.5 favoring the Tigers, and they won 38-7.

I'm just saying don't always go with the logic of the "letdown game." I still think Nebraska rolls this one. The coaches' jobs depend on it.
