People are saying that Cam is a better passer than Tebow, but I don't know if I agree. I give Cam the edge in the running department, Tebow has better power running ability but Cam's open field quickness is better. If you judge just on Tebow's sophomore Heisman season and this years Heisman season by Newton they are very equal. Tebow wins for total college career though because of his leadership and proven success in the National title games (2-0). If Newton wins the title and comes back for a senior year and has a similar season winning another Heisman and national title I might change by mind. But for the total body of work so far, I say Tebow. I also would pick Tebow if you said you were going to give me my pick to build a college team around for 4 years. Tebow's leadership and character make him the pick, hands down!
On a separate note, I think both Florida and Alabama teams from last year would beat both Oregon and Auburn teams from this year. Or would at minimum be favorites to do so.Comment -
Tebow was the superior college player, but I believe Newton has the chance to be a much better pro.Comment
