Most blatantly missed call I've seen this season as far as I can remember. Fresno State goes for it on 4th and 1, the runner is stopped short by almost a FULL YARD, they spot it so that it is marked a first down JUST by the tip of the ball, Zook wastes a timeout to challenge and the play is upheld. I don't understand how that call can stand without some type of foul play or fix or something. The play wasn't even close, that call is spotted short 100% of the time in the NFL. What makes things more suspicious is how calls like these are never lamented on ESPN or anything, as if they are trying to be kept under the radar... if that call was made in the NFL that replay would be shown on ESPN 100 times the next day... I had Illini ML (at about 45 cents cheaper than the closing line... insanely +EV spot all for nothing), so that play did matter for me, I feel like I just got literally robbed.
