Looking for thoughts on this. No question Boise St. can and should wipe the floor with Utah. Here's the thing, They've played a few of the same teams, notably Nevada recently. Anybody who saw last week knows Nevada earned their first win against Boise St. in some years and in doing so, ripped their BCS Champ hearts out. Nevada is stout. Utah's game against them was never really threatening, though they played hard to the end, losing 56-42.
All of that aside, 38 pts seems as good a guess as any. One problem. Boise St. has suffered as big a blow as a team can suffer: losing their undefeated record and title hopes the week prior. This sort of situation in College Football often leads to a hangover the next game, contrary to the belief "oh they'll definitely bounce back". Considering it is the last game of the year, you could make an argument for a hearty effort from Utah. This is less a vote for Utah and more a vote against Boise to throttle them
It's a marginal play for me right now. Leans?
